INFRAGAUGE SYSTEM FOR PLASTIC FILMS

DESCRIPTION:

Plastic packaging film manufacturing process is of two major categories: Blown film line and Cast film line
CEERI Center has developed an on-line Infragauge System with funding from Department of Science & Technology
Selective absorption of NIR radiation by plastic films is the basic principle of thickness measurement

FEATURES:

Non contact and non destructive measurement
Fast measurement for mean thickness and profile
Linear calibration over a range of 15 to 200 microns
Off-line self calibration facility with at least six standard samples
Provision for storing calibration values for different products
No hazardous radiation
Built-in diagnostics and test routine. 19" Industrial Computer based electronic system
